Alanta is a comedian and science communicator from Melbourne. With a background in international public health, she’s performed her solo science comedy shows including ‘Parasites Lost’, ‘Days of our Hives’, ‘On the Origin of Faeces’ and most recently ‘Trick or Treatment’ at Festivals across Australia and in the US. She runs regular science comedy debates (Sci Fight) and is a regular on ABC Radio and has written for ABC TV. Alanta will be MC of Skepticon 2024, as well as presenting during the convention and at the gala dinner.
