András Gabor Pinter is a professional tour guide and a teacher of biology and environmental science by training, currently practising the latter as a private tutor of science. He has been a skeptic since his high school years back in the late ’90s and was one of the original members of the Hungarian Skeptic Society, the organisation that he is the incumbent president of. He joined Susan Gerbic’s Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia team in 2014. He was the initiator and is a co-host and producer of the European Skeptics Podcast. He’s also a board member of the European Council of Skeptical Organisations. He is an advocate for wider international collaboration of skeptics and a political outreach to make way for more science-based policies. He also likes pointing out how tourism is built on a lot of BS. |
